New Vintage...I'll Take It

Dress: W by Azwell, Lace Shorts: LF, Shoes: Elizabeth and James

Well this looks vintage doesn't it?  Thats what I thought!  And although it might be brand spankin new, it will be vintage one day, right?  That's what I am thinking.  I am LOVING the aesthetic of this dress, its so pretty and innocent.  Those lace biker shorts I thought I would never use, EVER, appeared in the bottom of one of my drawers and, viola!  The dress is a wee bit too short to have nothing under it, but I did NOT want to wear it as a top.  Lucky me!  This is why I NEVER get rid of anything....HINT HINT MOM AND DAD.

These E&J shoes were a great find on sale and I am determined to find a way to make them work in fall.  Already thinking I will wear them with lace socks.....we shall see.  Good thing i've got some time!

In a blink of an eye- Miami trip

Really should've taken more photos while in Miami last week. But nonetheless, had an amazing time basking in the sun, shopping, and hanging out with the sis. 

The above photos of food, are from the restaurant named Scarpetta. I decided to wear the all white outfit (above) to dinner. It's located in the Fountainbleau, if you ever get a chance...eat there! It's amazing.

4th of July outfits!

Have fun with the 4th!  Whether its dressy, casual, or in-between....there are always options.


Here are the options that I find to be the most fun and the easiest:


Casual:
 be patriotic...american flag shorts, shirts, shoes...go for it!  I think bar-b-qs are the most acceptable time to pull out your obnoxious stuff and have fun.  also, perfect time for your cute flats


Dressy: 
my favorite thing to do on the 4th for a dressy function is to stick with white.  i always think white is the best template to start with...especially if you have two intense colors to chose from, red and blue.  choose whichever your heart desires!  i chose blue here, i tend to lean more towards cool colors, but red is rockin too.  add accessories in the color you choose...here i put a blue clutch, blue necklace, and blue heels.  I've always thought this look gets the point across without being too in your face.


Inbetween:
wear your denim....perfect time for ACTUAL BLUE jeans.  throw on a white top and keep it simple with red lipstick or gloss, and any of the shoes mentioned.  depending on where you are going, you can put one of the white flats with it or go for the blue heels
