New Vintage...I'll Take It

Well this looks vintage doesn't it?  Thats what I thought!  And although it might be brand spankin new, it will be vintage one day, right?  That's what I am thinking.  I am LOVING the aesthetic of this dress, its so pretty and innocent.  Those lace biker shorts I thought I would never use, EVER, appeared in the bottom of one of my drawers and, viola!  The dress is a wee bit too short to have nothing under it, but I did NOT want to wear it as a top.  Lucky me!  This is why I NEVER get rid of anything....HINT HINT MOM AND DAD.

These E&J shoes were a great find on sale and I am determined to find a way to make them work in fall.  Already thinking I will wear them with lace socks.....we shall see.  Good thing i've got some time!

Love these Zara heels, I got them a while back in New York and have forgotten to post about them!  I think they make them now in a brown and black tone....I am so happy I got mine when I did with the awesome python and neon, but the solid colored ones are awesome too!!!

Always Be There

I couldn't decide what to wear so I turned to this Forever 21 top that I bought last week.  I had already forgotten about it and then I remembered why I bought it...for situations like these!  It is such an easy piece and the fact that it is linen means no ironing.  Don't you just love when you have a reason for a wrinkly shirt?  I paired it with some old jeans from LF that have the awesome zipper detailing on the back and a few necklaces that I have purchased as of late.  I put on a red lip and think I managed to look pretty put together for work (well, put together enough!)

White Lace Top...Or Cardigan?

I love this top/cardigan/lace thing SO much.  I am so happy to break it out of storage....finally.  I love it as a top but I also love it as a swimsuit cover-up!!  Can't wait for the family vacation to the beach.  Long overdue.

As you may know, we have had the pleasure of working with The Addison Story.  They sent each of us a piece from their Spring 2012 collection and we could not be more impressed.  I chose this dress...  The colors are amazing and the fit is superb.  For day, I paired it with some clogs, a casual bag, and some bangles. For night, I paired it with nude pumps, a little black bag, a headpiece and some bracelets.  (might I add that I got so many compliments)
