How To: Red Lip

The most important step in perfecting the "Red Lip" look is finding the right shade.  Personally, I love Illamasqua's "Maneater", but it's all about your skin tone, eye and hair color.

Once you have found the perfect color, follow these easy steps:

 1.) Fill in your lips, making sure to follow the natural contour of them.  Do not go outside the lines...your lips are the shape they are for a reason...EMBRACE THEM!

 2.) Make lips into "kissy face" and make sure the insides of your lips are filled in.  You don't want the inside of your mouth peeking through in your pics!

3.)  Here is my secret...Use a WHITE eye-liner pencil and follow along your lashes.  

 4.)  Blend in with the back side of the pencil like this Revlon one.

 5.)  Line the corners of your eyes.

 6.)  Line along the skin between your bottom lashes and your eye.

 7.)  Use black mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

VOILA!

For Spring we can't wait to mess with color blocking, experimenting with pinks and reds TOGETHER, long sweaters paired with maxi's, bringing back the pumps, and playing with over-sized cardigans!!

And alas... throwing on the floppy hat tying it all together!

SPRING COLORS: I want YOU

so we are currently drooling over the up and coming colors of Spring.  looks like we will be visiting Dylan's Candy Bar more than usual...and can you blame us?  CANDY COLORS ARE IN!!!
